Bierport

Overview:

Bierport is a taproom located in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. It has a first floor which consists of a store to buy different kinds of craft beer. The basement level houses their underground taproom and lounge which accommodates many groups of people and has shelves and fridges full of beer. The bar downstairs has a rotating list of craft beers to choose from.

The Food: 

At Bierport you can get a wide variety of local and craft beers. They have many at the bar which you can enjoy in the basement taproom. Additionally, you can also order burgers and fries from the restaurant across the street “Simply Burgers & Fries”. All you have to do is scan the QR code on your table and order. Someone will bring your food over to Bierport within 10-15 minutes! 

Service:

The staff at Bierport are very friendly. In the taproom, the bartender is always there to offer you a sample of beer or pour you another glass. If you choose to order food from across the street, you'll find that it comes quickly and is packaged well. 

Atmosphere: 

The atmosphere and décor in Bierport is really cool. They have wood floors and brick when you first walk in. The large brick wall has the logo which leads down the stairs to the basement taproom. The basement is well-decorated and feels rustic. There is also a tv set up so you can play retro arcade games!

The experience at Bierport is great from start to finish. They have a wide variety of beers to choose from along with food accommodations from nearby restaurants. You can get a burger from "Simply Burgers & Fries" across the street. Additionally, the taproom is connected to the "Row House Cinema" directly next door. You can buy popcorn and eat it at Bierport, or you can buy a beer at Bierport and take it next door to watch a movie. This truly gives Bierport a great location in Lawrenceville and makes it one of the most unique taprooms you can visit!
