Overview:

Streets on the Fly is a food truck based in Pittsburgh that travels around the city to the different breweries. They are based out of the restaurant Streets On Carson in the city's South Side. The food truck offers a small but tasty menu of cheesesteaks, fries, and wings. Everything on the menu can also be substituted for vegan seitan. We stopped at Streets on the Fly while they were at Allegheny City Brewing.

The Food:

Yinzer Wit
Yinzer Wit

The first item we tried was the yinzer wit. It had fresh shaved ribeye, cheese wiz, lettuce, and tomato. They also serve it on a fresh hoagie roll that was really good. I think the veggies on top were a refreshing addition to the cheesesteak.

Wit Wiz & Fries

I ordered the wit wiz and fries which was the classic cheesesteak you would find in Philadelphia. The shaved ribeye was amazing and you could tell they use high quality meat. I also got a side of the fries which were seasoned with salt and parsley.

Service:

I ordered our food right after we got beers at Allegheny City Brewing. The food was ready in about 10 minutes even though other people were also waiting for food. The two people inside the truck were nice and made our food right in front of us.

Atmosphere:

The truck has really cool artwork on the outside. It makes it so you can see the truck as soon as you pull up.

Rating: Excellent |⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐|

Streets on the Fly is a simple but great food truck that travels all around Pittsburgh. The cheesesteaks and fries are to die for. Also the service is great and they make you food fresh to order right on the griddle. If you catch Streets on the Fly at a brewery definitely give them a try!
