Lolev Beer, nestled on Butler Street in Pittsburgh's vibrant Lawrenceville neighborhood, is a must-visit brewery. With a wide array of beers on tap, including pilsners, IPAs, and sours, every brew is crafted in-house using impressive brewing tanks. As you step inside, the bar where you place your orders greets you immediately, with a spacious seating area to the right. Although Lolev Beer does not serve food, patrons are welcome to bring in food from other establishments. Additionally, various food trucks can be found parked outside throughout the week. The Beer:

We ordered a few of the beers off the tap list when we got there. I tried the Samo pilsner and the Rein Helles lager. The Samo pours pale gold with subtle bread aromas, balanced by floral and spicy notes and a touch of lemon zest. While the Rein has a refreshing smooth malt backbone with fruit notes and a floral aroma. I enjoyed both beers but the Samo was my favorite of the two. Lolev keeps an updated taproom list with the latest beers available. 

Service:

The service at Loleve Beer was pretty good. I thought all the bartenders were super friendly and allow you to try samples of beer if you have never had one. They also pour the drinks into tall glasses so you definitely get your money's worth out of each beer. 

Atmosphere:

Lolev Beer boasts a stylish and inviting interior that beautifully combines old-world charm with modern flair. The brewery features vintage carpets, chairs, and paintings, creating a cozy and eclectic vibe. One of the seating areas is housed in what appears to be an old garage, complete with exposed brickwork and rustic windows that add character and authenticity to the space. Every corner of Lolev Beer is thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink with friends.
