Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar

Overview:

Jason Aldean’s Bar + Grill is a newer addition to the strip of  hot stops in the North Shore of  Pittsburgh. Directly across from Tequilla Cowboy, Jason Aldean’s is a country music themed bar with countless memorabilia hung up from the singer himself. The place has two full-service bars, a performance stage, and the live radio recording studio for Big 104.7.

The restaurant is open from 11AM to midnight Sunday to Thursday and 11 AM to 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. You can only dine in at the place as they do not offer online ordering or delivery. If you plan on going during the weekend, expect a wait for dinner and especially later at night.

The Food:

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich

The food at Jason Aldean’s was lacking in my opinion. I tried the hot chicken sandwich and it was not very good. It came with a flaky bun, dry chicken, and not very flavorful sauce. It also cost me $17 and it came with a small portion of fries.

Jason’s Mac & Cheese

The mac and cheese was also just ok. It tasted like carbonara sauce with bacon and lots of heavy cream. The chicken on top was also unnecessary for the dish and it was not even very flavorful. The price of this mac & cheese was also an outrageous $19!

Service:

The service at Jason Aldean’s was pretty standard like most bars. We had a waitress who was in training and she did a good job of getting our drinks and food out. The place was quiet since we went on a Sunday for lunch so we did not have to wait too long for the food.

I think the inside of the bar was the coolest part about the experience. There are lots of Jason Aldean’s signed items on the wall like guitars and jackets. When you step up to the first bar on the left you will notice a John Deere tractor which makes for a cool centerpiece.

Rating: Average |⭐⭐⭐✩✩|

Jason Aldean’s is a cool place to try once and experience it but I would definitely not go back. The food we had was overpriced and not of good quality. The service was nice and the decor was the best part. However, it feels like you are just paying more because Jason Aldean’s name is on the bar. I would probably rather go to the Foundry Table & Tap right next door. However, that was also not the best restaurant I have been to either.
